Highfield features great lake and mountain views and its own private car park. The beautiful rooms have en suite bathrooms and tea/coffee making facilities. Wonderful settings, located right in front of the lake promenade start, with a beautiful view towards the mountains and even the lake. Also very close to Keswick city center. The room was very comfortable, the lounge area was as well. Very good breakfast. I definitely recommend the Highfield.

A 5-minute drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, Ravenstone Manor is an 19th-century manor house set in 3 hectares of ground. The property is at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. Everything! Such a great. relaxing and special place to stay. We planned to eat out in Keswick some evenings as we were staying for 3 nights. However we couldn’t drag ourselves away as the food was all fantastic. We also loved the way that dogs were treated. They could go everywhere too. They even had a sink outside for muddy paws with warm water and fresh towels.

I loved everything about Cumbrian Lodge. The setting, the room, the hosts, the breakfast were all perfect. There’s loads of parking and the WiFi is excellent. Definitely recommended. Low Wood Bay is a very special place set in a magical location. The hotel and staff far exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was a highlight, with attentive and friendly staff led by Chad, one of the most welcoming and well-informed managers we have ever met. He was so kind and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we had a fantastic experience, including sharing tips of some of the best spots to visit in the Lakes. Special mention also to F&B supervisor Michael who was very professional and hard-working. He did not stop! The only problem with Low Wood is they have two exceptional restaurants, which meant we didn't really explore anywhere else- the food was too good! Reception staff were also very welcoming and even organised a balloon and chocolates for our special occasion- this topped off a perfect stay. We were very sad to leave.

Vi likte beliggenheten, spiseområde og det hyggelige personalet. Vi bodde i The Lodge som var meget behagelig med fine rom og god plass. Absolutt verdt prisen. Frokosten var også meget god med godt utvalg. Vi spiste middag en kveld og den var god med store porsjoner, og verdt prisen.
