If you are looking forward to meeting new interesting people, shared sunset memories and joyful conversations, that's the place to be. We also were very impressed by how welcoming and helpful the hosts were. It was a wonderful place we would certainly return to.

This family run motel was perfect for our stay. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Our hosts arranged all the tours we were interested in. Breakfast was delicious. The location was quiet but very central. Highly recommend this motel!

I've never stayed at such a place before and we have traveled extensively. I loved how we were welcomed so warmly and how we all came to know each other on a first-name basis. This is entirely up to you, if you want to be anonymous, they sense this and will accommodate you. My husband and I loved the privacy, warmth and lodge feel of the place. This location is MUCH MORE than a hotel. We were introduced to a unique concept which we loved that, I fear, we may never find again - until we return (and we certainly will return). I can't say enough great things about the staff taking care of our every need, rooms (cleanliness), the food (fresh, tasty, well priced and that breakfast - WOW). We sorely needed this escape from reality and Gigi Brown Santa Teresa, Malpais delivered. The sunset is spectacular and comfortably viewed from comfortable, serviced (cocktails, etc.) seating at GiGi. Venus and Jupiter stars in clear view once the sun went down.

We stayed for 2 nights in this beautiful hotel. For us it had a perfect position within Manuel Antonio, with around 5-6 kilometres from the main beach and nationalparc and for that a more quiet surrounding. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, but for other activities you need a car. The Hotel has a beautiful patio with 2 pools, a bar and is a great place to relax or have a sundowner in the pool before going out for dinner. The room we had was well equipped, with a/c, a fridge and a nice bathroom. Towels for pool and beach were provided. Breakfast was à la carte, which was a great change to the omnipresent gallo pinto. The staff was really lovely, most helpful and very obliging.
