Facility is amazing, lots of wildlife and huge trees surrounding the property that you can see from all parts of the hotel. The staff was especially incredible. Joseph, Cristian, Manfred, Marianna and especially Daniel were all some of the best human beings that my girlfriend have ever experienced from a hotel staff. They go above and beyond with essentially every need of their guests, without question. Drinks and food are excellent, and the walk to the beach is roughly 3 minutes.

The location is so great by the beach and the sound of the waves during all day and night is what I was looking for a good relaxation. It's very beautiful and I loved everything about this hotel.

La Tica y la Gata is an amazing place to be at when visiting Puerto Viejo. True, that it is a bit away further from the beach and it is preferable to have a vehicle (bike, toktok, car) to get in and out (around 2 minutes by bike and 10 minutes walking; but the staff (the owner, her daughter and all empolyees) are very freindly and helpful. The two rooms apartments are gorgeous and the pool and walking isle between rooms is beautiful. The wifi is superfast and the rooms are spotless and cleaned daily. I do recommend this place to anyone visiting PV.

It was a rough road to get here but the slowness of travel allowed to take in the beautiful scenery.
