Well first off I’ve never commented on this before so I suspect it’s because they’ve all been satisfactory however the shower in this room was amazing. I spent almost an hour in the shower.

This is hidden gem,family who runs this place is amazing and since you feel like part of this home,such a precious traveling experience,it's not really like your ordinary hostel it's more like staying with family in their house.Despite place being little bit put of the main touristy paths(even better no) there is plenty to do,famous Rio Celeste hike,check the Tapir valley tours,hot springs on Rio Negro reachable in hour and half as well, definitely recommend this place,i had wonderful time,thank you!!

We even got invited to the dinner with Juan - the owner of the property, and his wonderful wife and friends. Plus we also got a free excursion in the sorrounding garden where Juan grows mangos, avocados, blackberries and meny other fruits. Absolutely recommend.

Situated in Fortuna and with La Fortuna Waterfall reachable within 5.6 km, Pura Vibra Hostel features concierge services, rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared lounge. This was a great hostel. Very nice couple who run it ! Great hostel. The rooms were fab, privacy curtains on all the beds. Hot showers. The kitchen was amazing, everything you could need.

Arenal Sloth Hostel is set in Fortuna, within 5 km of La Fortuna Waterfall and 5.4 km of Kalambu Hot Springs. Friendly and welcoming staffs and they provided different recommendations of where to go in La Fortuna, Free rope swing, hidden gem waterfall.....etc. The hostel is clean, comfy bed, with air-con and nice shared kitchen, but 2 refrigerators or 4 stoves but still not enough because all of travellers use the kitchen for dinner, and some kitchen utensils are not enough during peak period.
